Type: Full-time (Approximately 40 hours per week; Less during off season and more during busy season)

We pride ourselves on our commitment to sustainable floral design and maintaining a high level of professionalism. We are seeking a talented and experienced Lead Designer to join Echoes of Eden full-time. The ideal candidate will have a strong creative eye with a background in floral design, wedding and event industry sales, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to manage client relationships professionally. They will have experience working in the events industry, with a proven track record of successfully managing and executing events of varying sizes and styles. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with clients and team members are essential. Lastly, they will be looking for a long term career and be bought into the EofE model.
Job Summary:
A Lead Designer at our events-focused floral design studio is responsible for booking clients based off of leads given to them and hitting a sales goal. This individual will be the EofE point of contact for their clients from design consultation to the day of event, through conceptualization and execution. They work closely with Owners, Kelly and Harley, to ensure all standards and systems are being met for each event whether professionally or creatively. Lastly, they will be expected to assist the company in any team related events or tasks that occur.
Design Qualifications:

3+ years of design experience in varying styles

Experience leading multiple events w/ $10K+ floral budgets

Experience and proficiency working with sustainable mechanics

Understand the EofE branded style and standards

Understand color theory

Advanced product knowledge

Ability to educate clients and answer design questions

Understand client’s priorities and offer cohesive ideas

Ability to elevate and distinguish each event
Professional Qualifications:

Ability to conduct orderly and professional meetings with clients

Experience in sales with a track record of successfully converting leads into clients

Demonstrates prompt follow-up with clients

Demonstrates timeliness in all aspects of the role

Strong professional writing skills

Experience and proficiency with Google Sheets, Docs, Calendar etc.
Physical Qualifications:

Ability to be on feet for a 10+ hour day

Ability to lift 50 lbs over head

Ability to carry full 5 gallon buckets

Confident driving large transit vans

Confident on a 16ft+ Ladder and/or Scissor Lift

Valid Driver's License and clean driving record
